What made you decide to become a vet?
I am one of those people that wanted to be a veterinarian from a very young age. While other kids were watching cartoon network, I was glued to the screen watching Animal Planet.
Why did you decide to join the Companion team?
The workplace culture and family atmosphere. I couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with every day.

Building relationships with people and their beloved pets. I love the opportunity to be able to advocate for animals and ensure pets live long and happy lives with their families.
What is one of the most common problems you’ve encountered in pets you treat?
Dental disease! An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of a cure when it comes to the oral health of our furry friends.

Surgery and ophthalmology
What is the most unusual pet you have helped treat?
A golden eagle with a broken wing at the California Wildlife Center.
