Hey! My name is April I am currently working as a Technician helping your fur babies! I work to ensure our little friends get the treatment they require all while making them feel as comfortable as possible when visiting with us. I’ve worked in the veterinary field as a technician since October 2019 after having completed my Veterinary Assistant Certification at Triton College in late 2018. As a child my family and friends always knew my goal in life was to eventually become a Veterinarian and start a Non-profit Sanctuary where Owners can surrender their Fur Babies to hopefully prevent one more animal from ending up in the streets.
When I am not at work running around, I enjoy going on walks throughout the forest along the riverbanks or heading to the city to walk alongside lake shore drive! I have a tiny chihuahua and a toddler at home to keep me on my toes going along on all my crazy adventures with me. I’m also in the works of starting a non-profit “AJ stands fur all” organization under my son’s name to help him understand the importance and values of being the voice to the fur babies who don’t have a voice of their own. Working for a General Practice I get to come into work and have an opportunity to learn how to further care for your four-legged friends!
