Originally from Melrose Park, I grew up with all types of animals; chicks, hamsters, gerbils, parakeets, cockatiel, turtles, aqua frog, until I finally convinced my Dad to let me have a dog. My first dog was a Schnoodle/Terrier mix named Skippy. He’s since passed and my family and I now have four dogs, a yorki-poo named Lucca, a Pomeranian named Bella and two chihuahuas, Jadda and Bubba. As an adult, I have had a hedgehog named Athena and a Holland lop rabbit named Chiara who have recently passed. I currently have two rabbits, a Netherland dwarf, Theo and a lionhead, Leo.

I started my animal loving career working at a pet store, then went on to be a CSR at a vet, eventually becoming the lead CSR and making my way to hospital manager. Three months ago I became a first time human mom and moved back out this way and joined the Companion team and having been loving every minute of meeting new faces all around, from staff to clients, to patients!
