Dr. Caplan is the vet for our elderly dog, Bogey, who has suffered from a variety of uncommon medical issues. It’s rare when I post a review, but after leaving this vet’s office, I just had to post this review. First of all I called about 5 vet offices in my area and no one was “equipped” to see my dog Panda or he needed to be a current patient or I would have to schedule weeks in advance. I finally stumbled upon Companion Animal Hospital of Norridge. I explained to them over the phone what was going on with my 12 week old Panda, he would be a new patient. Immediately they were able to accommodate me and give me a same day appointment. Let me just say Dr. Mccaullick is amazing, her care for Panda went above and beyond. Kind of a late, but much deserved review! I have taken my Daisy here for a few years now. My dog is a reactive pit mix who doesn’t like other animals which can make vet visits very hard. Every time I bring Daisy in, they make special accommodations so that Daisy won’t see other animals when walking in which is amazing. They also don’t judge her and immediately show her love to calm her down. I usually see Dr. Scott but I have seen quite a few of the other vets, and they are all great! They are very upfront and give you all the options. Appointments are easy to make, and I can almost always get in the same week which is amazing.

Dr. Scotty at Companion Norridge is the absolute best. We bring both of our dogs (very different dispositions) to her. One of them is EXTREMELY anxious at the vet. My cat Wheatley is a terror at the vet. I have an actual scar behind my ear from the last time we went and he got upset. This vet was the first to suggest medication for his anxiety (and give him a good dose) while also being gentle and slow with him. They care so much about his well being, they make sure I understand what is happening medically, they break down costs effectively, and every time they interact with Wheatley they let him accept their touch or inspect them first.
