I’ve had a strong passion to work with animals since elementary school.  Although I am a lot older now, that passion has not changed. I am currently enrolled at Aurora University majoring in Human-Animal Studies with a Biology minor and am an active member in a club called Unleashed which is an organization that allows me to donate and help animal shelters.

I have grown up with many animals (due to my parents being snake, lizard, and bird breeders), but we always had frogs, turtles, cats, and dogs in our house. From a very young age I learned to have compassion for animals and developed an understanding of animal welfare as well as proper enrichment and treatment of those animals. I currently have two cats that I care for greatly. When I am not working with animals, I love being outside, gardening, cooking, and exploring new places.
