My name is Pawel Tymoszuk. I was born in Warszawa, Poland. After moving to the US I have been serving the local community as a technician for seven years. Hard work and dedication resulted in obtaining my professional veterinary license in 2017. I am looking forward to helping you and your pets as a veterinarian now.
What is your educational and veterinary medicine background?
I graduated from Warsaw University of Life Sciences in veterinary medicine in 2009. My adventure with veterinary medicine in the US started at Norwood Park Animal Hospital with Dr. Hammer and his staff in 2010. This amazing journey continues with Companion Animal Hospital of Norridge now.
Why did you decide to become a veterinarian?
My passion for medicine and animals started in grammar school. The only way I could combine both interests was attending a vet school.
What are your special interests in veterinary medicine?
Wound care and surgery.
What is the most unusual pet you have helped treat?
A baby squirrel.
What is your biggest pet peeve?
People on their phone while driving.
Favorite place to eat?
Anywhere outdoors.
Favorite place to visit?
My beloved Warszawa, Wolka Zamkowa (my grandma’s village) and Capri (in Italy).
Favorite food?
Healthy food.
Favorite movie?
The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Favorite sports team?
Legia Warszawa, F.C. Barcelona, the Polish ski jumping national team, and the Chicago Bulls.
