I have had a passion for animals large and small my entire life. I was well acquainted with livestock and horses from a young age– often exchanging services of pet-sitting and horse/stable care for English riding and carriage lessons. I also was involved with wildlife – I kept an African spurred tortoise at my house during the summers in high school for our biology professor and volunteered with various local zoos. I have prior experience as a veterinary technician, but I have learned and grown an incredible amount at Companion Animal Hospital.
I am a proud dog parent of two rescue dogs, Henry and Ruby. I am currently completing my Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at Arizona State University and plan to continue my education in the zoology or veterinary field. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, studying, building computers, playing video games, and spoiling our dogs with way too many toys.
